A: At Dreaming Blue, we strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests. In the event of a cancellation due to technical issues on our part, you will receive a full refund. If adverse weather conditions arise — such as strong winds, lightning, or heavy rain — and the local port authorities issue restrictions, we will contact you to reschedule or, if preferred, provide a full refund. Please note that overcast or cloudy skies do not constitute grounds for cancellation and in such occasions your booking still stands for the day, unless official warnings are issued.
Dreaming Blue reserves the right to cancel or interrupt any trip at any time if sea or weather conditions are deemed unsafe by our team or the skipper. This includes both pre-departure cancellations and changes made during the trip. In such cases, refunds or rescheduling options will be offered at our discretion. Alterations to the itinerary or destination, made for safety or operational reasons, do not entitle guests to a refund.
Please note the following cancellation terms regarding Customer-Initiated Cancellations. If the cancellation is made at least 3 weeks prior to your scheduled trip, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. If the cancellation occurs within the final 3 weeks before the trip, no refund will be issued, regardless of the reason. If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact us at info@dreamingblueboats.com, and we will guide you through the process. We kindly recommend reviewing the full Cancellation Policy for additional information regarding cancellations due to weather or technical reasons.
A: If the departure of the boat is not advisable – or may be dangerous – due to conditions such as bad weather, then Dreaming Blue and the skipper have the sole discretion to delay or postpone the cruise departure or even make adjustments to the itinerary for safety reasons.
If the weather is bad due to high winds, lightning, or heavy rain and there is a restriction from the local port authorities, we will contact you to cancel or reschedule the booking (on such cancellation, money is refunded).
If weather conditions are overcast and cloudy, but no use of warnings are issued by the port authorities, your rental still stands for the day.
Dreaming Blue reserves the right to cancel any rental at any time, even during the trip, due to extreme conditions deemed unsafe.
A: Dreaming Blue boats meet all safety regulations, meet the standards that have been appointed by the naval ministry and that have been approved by an independent surveyor. The yacht is supplied with a 10pax Liferaft, fire extinguishers, flares, lifejackets and Epirb. On top of that, before every trip there is always a safety briefing by the skipper.
A: You must be 18 years or older to book a trip with Dreaming Blue!
A: Absolutely! Dreaming Blue offers a fantastic family trip experience with amenities on board to accommodate all ages. On our Skippered Rib, the skipper will provide guidance in using the snorkelling fins and other water toys and are experienced in serving families with children.
A: Dreaming Blue offers WIFI for free on all its trips! *Internet connectivity and speed may vary within cruising grounds.
A: Wearing your bathing suit, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat will help a lot! Maybe bring towels or snorkeling equipment if you need your own. A change of clothes could help you stay dry for the cruise back. Rest assured we will do our best to help you with anything you might have forgotten or need.
